It began with the official circuit. Eurowies’N Night, in Belvedere please. Well lower Belvedere, but Belvedere anyway ! The very one where lived the very manly Prince Eugene of Savoy.

We were invited to put on a traditional costume of our country. Obviously, only the local guests played the game… But Moldovans were there, as Romanians, we’re now used to. Before I came in, the Serbian singer also made an appearance…
To complete this colorful picture, a local folk band played part of the evening, with dancers bonus.

I came in too late for the 40 petit fours – 1 per participating country – but I was able to taste some sweet versions, at least Italy, Belgium and Spain, plus two others I don’t know the origin. Italy wins ! I also tasted once more the Austrian wine before returning to beer, more refreshing.
And I needed to quench my thirst because we could dance !…

Around midnight, the party was less crazy, Stéphane David and I have therefore taken the direction of Felixx, a local gay bar. Revisited baroque decor to stick with the evening theme.
Like many nightlife places of Vienna, this one was smoking – the audience more international than local in this case and the music 100% eurovision.
As unlikely as my new passion for Lederhose, Stéphane finished the evening with zero cola… We want to bed 2am, as the bar closed.

After 6 small hours of sleep, the alarm sounded at 8:45 this morning… Surprisingly, no need to use the ibuprofen bought two days ago. Saying getting up was easy would be lying, but it was less painful than expected, given my condition at the end of the night…
I will not try the Montenegrin party tonight, but will honor the invitation of San Marino, we’re always well received by San Marino ! Then, a priori, Chaya Fuera, but I will confirm this tomorrow…
