First open rehearsals. Today, we have a “press” area in the venue. When they saw the stage for real, Ethan and Aïtor were like two kids on Christmas morning…

Moldova

Ethan : Moldova was first this morning, though we saw them quite late at last night party (I’ll tell you everything in today’s Wach Auf…). And it’s much better than first rehearsal. The act looks less rough on the screen, and I start dancing in the Stadthalle (well OK I often do…).

Ethan : That was so bad for the first rehearsal we didn’t expect much. We were right. It’s still not good at all …

The Netherlands

Ethan : Several veil attempts once more, test of a red jacket, over a long black dress, far more sober than the first one. What will Trijntje look alike on Tuesday night ? No idea yet. And as the dress is a major plot for the final rendering…

Ethan : I do hope they’ll be out of the final. And even if I think it won’t happen, I’d wish they finish last…

Greece

Ethan : One Last Breath really bothers me. Maria-Elena shouts from beginning to end. She screams on tune it’s quite something… But it’s still a long cry and the second one in a row !

Ethan : Obviously, Måns last night killed the hopes of every single contestant, but Estonia definitely deserves their bookmakers’ odds. Everything works fine here…

Ethan : Serbia give this year good reason to detractors of Eurovision. Bojana’s act is as cheesy as kitsch.

Hongrie

Ethan : They had so much better in their national final… What a pity ! No significant changes from the first rehearsal but I fall asleep listening to that song so I might have missed something…

Belarus

Ethan : The background video, when it turns blue, is not working well for me. I would prefer a more shady atmosphere, which would highlight the 2 of them – Maimona is really beautiful and Uzari is for me the hotest guy of this contest.

Russie

Ethan : After first run through on Tuesday gave me chills. But today the wow factor was already over, on screen as in the venue. It’s still very very good… But less magical the second time.

Ethan : I’d like to like Denmark… Sorry Jan, I do not. I’m really not into Friends teen rock… But I admit it’s quite well done…

Ethan : The staging is spectacular. I do not like this song, the girl is looking so rude we would like to see her out, but the images are that striking it’s very unlikely.
