Melodifestivalen 2015 – our dream final…

We now have the complet lineup of the Melodifestivalen 2015 final !

But lets build our ideal final, just the time of a dream. As every year, we didn’t understand some qualifications, we cried with emotion on some vibratos and begun moving our hips on some tunes.

So let’s play Christer Björkman ! Here is the ideal final of eurovision69

This is obviously Danny Saucedo we choose to host our selection. If Sanna and Robin rather convinced me, they can not compete with Danny ! Not a chance…

Nu kör vi !

Melodi nummer ett
Magnus Carlsson – Möt Mig I Gamla Stan

A schlager opening of course ! If SVT unfortunately tends to neglect those singers, who were for many years its main goodwill, we don’t !
We say yes to girls with hair in the wind, yes to choreographies with knees swinging, and yes to soppy catchy songs.

As you’ll have the pleasure to see Magnus Carlsson singing Möt Mig I Gamla Stan next Saturday, I suggest you to watch tis video of Live Forever. You’ll see Magnus is very sexy too in jeans/t-shirt and he also has a Finnish fan…

Magnus Carlsson – Live Forever

Melodi nummer två
Molly Pettersson Hammar – I’ll Be Fine

While a controversy surrounds her surprise elimination in the first semi, it’s impossible not to select Molly Pettersson Hammar !

Lyrical pop ballad, I’ll Be Fine is also available in a beautiful acoustic version…

For those who missed the first semifinal, you can find HERE the original live version of her song.

Melodi nummer tre
Dinah Nah – Make Me (La La La)

We can not advise her to keep that hair color… But we are willing to take her to Vienna with us, to keep us awake at euroclub.

Once we’ll have attended rehearsals of the 97 ballads this Eurovision 2015 has, we’ll be glad Dinah Nah Make us la la la…

And to warm up, let’s watch her video clip !

Melodi nummer fyra
Andreas Johnson – Living To Die

He probably pays the choice of his stylist… With Living To Die, Andreas Johnson unfairly ends very last of his semifinal. The images are obviously not flattering, but yet that was one of his most beautiful songs for Melodifestivalen.

And even if we wouldn’t like his song, we still remember the orange silk scarf tied around his neck for One Love in 2008. We remember at 2 minutes 40, he almost falls, led by Carola, who as usual, is struggling to remain in place. We thus select Andreas Johnson, for his song and perseverance…

Andreas Johnson & Carola Häggkvist – One Love

Melodi nummer fem
Eric Saade – Sting

He is the Melodifestivalen prop-queen, we had to, select Eric Saade for that ideal final…

Yes, we know without choristers it does sound like nothing ! But we haven’t forgotten his Manboy shower in 2010. One imagines the efforts he makes to keep that beautiful chest and just for that, we are grateful…

So let’s discover Eric “Behind the Scenes” and sing Sting loudly !

Eric Saade – Sting

Melodi nummer sex
Kristin Amparo – I See You

Impossible to forgive Swedish for prefering Hasse Andersson to Kristin Amparo !

I See You simply sounds like an angel singing…

Even in a wallpaper dress my mother would not have dared on her living room walls in the 80s, Kristin is sublime.

Kristin Amparo – I See You

Melodi nummer sju
Jon Henrik Fjällgren – Jag är fri (Manne Leam Frijje)

What a dumb idea having 12 songs in the final ! Even to select 10, we have to deal with Jon Henrik Fjällgren. The kitschest act of this Melodifestivalen…

The fact he is shirtless in his video, is not the reason for his presence in this selection ! (but that said, we have to recognize this is its greatest asset…)

No, the real reason is that we also needed a folklore cliché to balance our final.

Jon Henrik Fjällgren – Jag är fri (Manne Leam Frijje)

Melodi nummer åtta
Midnight Boy – Don’t Say No

Queenstatic ! No way he’d be out of our final. This is THE song of the year.

Midnight Boy is definitely my favorite of the Melodifestivalen 2015. He just unveiled the official video of Don’t Say No, and I watch it over and over. Sexy and catchy ! We’re back in the 80’s – with 70’s carefree and 90’s trashy attitudes. The whole thing is ultimately very 2015 to me. An happy side of Ben Ivory.

Check out too, the live video of Don’t Say No and previous singles of Midnight Boy.

Melodi nummer nio
Caroline Wennergren – Black Swan

Why Caroline Wennergren will not be at Globen Saturday night remains a mystery to me.

Her performance of Black Swan was totaly enchanting. Beautiful interpretation, classy…

Fortunately, the dream final of eurovision69 is to right this wrong !

Caroline Wennergren – Black Swan

Melodi nummer tio
Måns Zelmerlöw – Heroes

Måns obviously closes this selection. How could it be otherwise ? He is the clear winner of that Melodifestivalen, and with him, Sweden once again secures a top 5 at Eurovision…

This guy really has it all… The staging of Heroes is simply magical. Måns steals the show and the song could be a commercial success.

If you can’t wait until Saturday to see his live performance again, you can watch HERE the one of the semifinal once more.
